The French-Belgian-Dutch Circuit consists of the University of Leuven, the Radboud University Nijmegen and the University of Toulouse.

  • The circuit has previously hosted the following Irish artists: Claire Kilroy (2014, 2015), Glenn Patterson, Medbh McGuckian (2013), Evelyn Conlon (2016), Rita Duffy (2013, 2014, 2016), Mary Morrissy (2017), Thomas Morris (2017).

  • on Female Lines: New Writing by Women from Northern Ireland

    The Norther Ireland Executive Brussels Office together with the Embassy of Ireland and EFACIS/LCIS will host readings by Heather Richardson and Rosemary Jenkinson to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Agreement in Belfast on Good Friday, 10 April and the referenda on the Island of Ireland on 22 May.
    Further panelists are Dawn Sherratt-Bado, Celia de Freine, Margaret Ward (they are not part of the Itinerary thought, in case anybody wonders why they're not on the poster).
    The event is free, but registration is mandatory: https://bit.ly/2sdM6iS. It is nearly booked out, so you need to hurry if you want to book a place.

    This year the Leuven Centre of Irish Studies and The Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe will host an evening on Irish film. Tana Bana, a film by Irish Director Pat Murphy will be screened after an introduction by Associate producer Annie Dibble at 6.30pm. This event is free and open to all.

    On St. Patrick's Day Claire Kilroy gave a brilliant reading at the Irish college in Leuven. She read from her novel The Devil I Know. This event was part of an evening of St. Patrick's Day's celebrations.
