Southern Circuit

The Southern Circuit consists of universities in Spain and Portugal. In Portugal the universities of Lisbon, Braga, Porto and Coimbra are participating, while in Spain the universities of A Coruña and Oviedo. On this page you can view previous events on the Southern Circuit.   • The circuit previsouly hosted The Balloonatics Theatre Company will tour in Portugal with its performance of two of the stories from James Joyce's Dubliners

    This year the University of Granada and the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, will take part in the Southern Circuit of the Irish Itinerary.

    The Circuit will host Mary McParltan and Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin for a week of promoting Irish culture.

    Irish novelist Claire Kilroy will give a reading in Granada in December. This is the last event on this year's Irish Itinerary. Claire Kilroy has already taken part twice in our Irish Itinerary and both times her readings were very well liked, so this is an event to look forward to!
